The site features products of all kinds, in the categories body, fashion for men and women, food and drink, gadgets, home, kids, media and novelties. Some of the tips are useful and interesting, and others are just obscure and weird. Always blows me away how much of everything is available online.

And then of course there is the Thanksgiving feast that is a staple in American tradition. Really check your merchandise that you'll be buying.  See if it's made out of premium quality materials; check online sites for reviews that talk about its construction, if it uses online top grain leather or if it talks about the quality of the foam cushions and the seating foundation.  This is what furniture is, so don't skip out, it's your investment that should last for many years to come.

Dining Benches, a trendy new concept

When most people think about dining furniture, the first thing that pops into their head is a basic table with four chairs. This is going to change soon however, when dining benches start to catch on. Just like having a barbeque on your patio, it’s not so strange to have two people on a bench, but now this idea is being moved inside to typical dining rooms.

Dining benches will start to gain more steam when people find out the prices. If you really examine price tags, you’ll notice that a dining bench that sits two is cheaper than buying two chairs. It’ll save you money and give your dining area a more traditional look.

If you still want the option of having chairs, then there is good news. A lot of companies offer the bench with accompanying chairs or barstools, everything matching of course. The benches come with different combinations of different furniture from cushioned to regular stained wood, often in various leathers and fabrics.

Feeling inspired by the About.com article below, I figured I'd compile a little list of furniture companies in the US, who also makes club chairs. I must admit, it has been hard finding club chairs that you can tell for certain are made in the USA. If you know of other manufacturers, do let me know, and I'll include them in the list below!

Was about to write "what is a club chair", did a quick search on Google, and came across an explanation that just covers it splendidly:

"Club chairs are heavily upholstered chairs with arms and a low back, usually covered in leather. Reclining in nature, this easy going chair has its roots in 19th century English gentleman's clubs, where they no doubt served as the ultimate socializing and relaxation furniture. Club chairs evoke a picture of smoke-filled rooms decorated in heavy, masculine wood and leather worn to a comfortable patina. The 1920's saw a huge jump in the popularity of club chairs, which began their evolution from the overstuffed masculine English version to the many different models available today."
